As I now find myself with a bit more space in my offices, having recently handed over the accountancy side of Neale Group to another local firm of accountants, it set me thinking about how best to make use of this space. I mentioned to a colleague about an idea of renting out desk space to new and sole trading local businesses, and realised that this is really what I have wanted to create from the start. A Neale Community of mutual support for small businesses that has business well-being at its heart as well as standard business support.

I could not put the washing on, put it on the line, or see that neighbour that just popped in or the extended family at the time that saw me as available at home for them and not really "working". It helped to shorten the day, because I was not thinking as I did when I was at home "I will finish that later".
